This week, three incredible team members were honored for going above and beyond:
👏 Shauna O’Steen – Crystal River Middle School secretary, recognized by Deputy Superintendent Jen Greco for her warm, welcoming presence and unwavering support of staff and families, especially during last year’s hurricane recovery.
👏 Janie Bennett – ELA Content Specialist, her bright smile, positive attitude, and inspiring love for kids light up our district office and every school she visits. Chief of Staff Amy Crowell, Director of Elementary Education Rene' Johnson and Director of Secondary Education Laura Lindeman. 
👏 Principal Troy Labarbara – In just a few months at Lecanto High School, he’s shown strong leadership, built a fun, positive culture, and consistently supports students and staff at events throughout the week. Recognized by Technology Director Kathy Androski.
